The 2015 vintage is remembered as producing Cabernet Sauvignon of exceptional quality—small berries with great concentration—and low yields. Due to a cool spring that impacted quantity but not quality, the grapes were beautifully bold in both aroma and flavor. Clusters were also long and loose for ideal ripening. The resulting wines are fresh, vibrant and compelling.
Grapes: 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12.6% Merlot, 3.6% Cabernet Franc, 2.4% Petit Verdot
Pairing Suggestions: Roasted meats, game
Tasting Notes: Notes of strawberry, cigar and tea leaves with a touch of black pepper and clove. A mouthwatering mid-palate of raspberry is followed by an expressive and bright finish.
